Ladytron is an electronic music band formed in Liverpool in the summer of 1999. The band consists out of of Helen Marnie, Mira Aroyo, Reuben Wu and Daniel Hunt. All members are involved in songwriting, music production, remixing and (except Marnie) in DJ'ing. The band's name is taken from a song of the same name by Roxy Music.
Ladytron blends electronic pop music and some New Wave influences, along with some more experimental leanings including psychedelic elements, using an array of vintage analogue equipment to achieve their distinctive sound.
Ace Of Hz is taken from from their album The Best Of Ladytron 00-10, released on March 29th.
