Mason consists of Dutch producers Iason Chronis and Coen Berrier. This duo has released music on numerous electro and techno labels, remixed artists such as Moby, Robyn and Gabriella Cilmi and launched their own label 'Animal Language' in 2008.
For their debut album, They Are Among Us, Chronis and Berrier collaborated with various artists such as Kurtis Blow, DMC, Sam Sparro and Róisín Murphy who features on the first single Boadicea. The track was inspired by Boadicea, the story of the ancient revolutionary warrior queen.
