Monarchy – I Won't Let Go (feat. Rokhsan)

In June 2010, London-based electro duo Monarchy (expat Aussies Andrew Armstrong and Ra Black) signed a major-label deal with Mercury. They were about to release their self-titled debut album after having their first gig beamed into space from Cap Canaveral. Then, things came crashing down when they were dropped, the album was delayed and everything went quiet.

Monarchy recently signed a new deal and I Won't Let Go is one of their new tracks, released on April 11th. Armstrong and Black don't show their faces or reveal their real identity because they feel that artists have become bland and sanitized by the constant broadcast of personal lives they feel obliged to compete with. It’s a statement on information overload and it allows people to focus on the music.

Their debut album is scheduled to be released this July.
